They actually visually tell a complete story with a beginning, middle and end. Jow generally can narrate the entire story in words when looking at it without me telling him what I'm trying to say. He's got a badass track record of getting it exactly right approximately 9 out of 10 times. He even knows which goddesses I'm thinking about or which of Their stories I have in my head while putting the boards together. Every story is about a journey.
