2016 started in an appropriate manner for me. I didn't think I had lost any kind of weight since the summer, not with the holidaze coma of cucidati, roasts, chicken parm and cheese, cheese, cheese. But apparently, I had somehow lost weight. Usually, hooray! When you are trying to wear a sequined tulle gown that now exposes almost all of your bra, less so. New Year's Eve found me where I probably belong for 2016: Sweating, swearing, panicked, swearing and attempting to sew myself into my dress a la 1997 as my mother did for me for my senior prom. Luckily, it worked and then we were off to Grounds for Sculpture for a lovely New Year's Eve, surrounded by olds and Eurotrash, as the lordess intended.
